Adam's role as Chief Adviser is to provide comprehensive technical assistance across the entire organisation. More specifically, his responsibilities include;- Ensure ongoing programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation, and consistent quality of finance and administration, fundraising, communications, and systems- Overall management of partnerships and contracts, directly with major donors andfunders or those of high strategic value, or through the support of Senior Management- Overall financial management and leadership of donor funds including large scale budgeting and acquittal- Actively engage and energize EPF staff, volunteers, board members, eventcommittees, alumni, partnering organizations, and funders in the collaborativemission and purpose of EPF- Lead, coach, develop, and retain senior management team responsible for 30+ staff.- Ensure effective systems to track scaling progress, and regularly evaluate program components.- Represent EPF externally; ensuring that EPF’s vision, mission, values and aims arecommunicated in a positive and compelling way.

As the principal consultant Adam specialised in;- Stakeholder consultation and community-led design practice- Contextualisation of development best practice in complex settings - Performance Management and staff trainingWith particular skills in the development themes of;- Gender equality and respectful relationship education (men and boys inclusive)- Sport for development initiatives- Health Promotion- Youth development and advocacyThrough Guerilla Development Adam has worked with universities, businesses, non-government organisations and governments in Europe, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea (including Post-conflict Bougainville), and Australia.

Adam founded Studio Gyris in 2021 as a passion project. The studio and its amazing team developed a video game, sold out art collections and are currently developing a novel for 2024 publication. To date, the studio has made 750,000 AUD in sales and raised pre-seed venture capital.

The scope of work in this position included the management of a team to deliver against UTS KPI's on overseas student mobility. During my short time I oversaw the acquisition of over 1 million AUD in short-term funding for undergrad mobility and the management of over 1.2 million in annual grant funding. It also included the development of a new strategy for the BUiLD program. Key to the role were the establishment and cultivation of relationships both internal and external to UTS. This manifested in a number of collaborative pieces of work across university units and faculties, and with partner organisations and young leaders from the local and international changemaker community.

Deepen and refine all aspects of communications—from web presence to external relations • Build engagement with diverse funder and stakeholder base (corporate, CSO, Government, media, community etc)• Represent EPF externally; ensuring that EPF’s vision, mission, values and aims are communicated in a positive and compelling way. • Support and empower staff to represent EPF in the same way • Design the national expansion and complete the strategic business planning process for the program expansion into new markets• Build partnerships and relationships in new markets, with funders and key stakeholders• Lead project planning and proposal development alongside partners • Be an external local and national presence that communicates program results with an emphasis on the successes of the local program as a model for regional and international replication

The Partnership Broker Program is a federally funded national program which aims to increase the attainment levels of young people through the brokerage of partnerships between local government, schools, the community, local businesses and local community service providers. Utilising a community development framework, my role has focused on the development and design of several high level, strategic community projects, networks and initiatives which bring together key stakeholders to address the barriers to the development of the Illawarra. These projects have a strong focus on consultation, collaboration and partnership.

The Young Social Pioneers are credited as being the leading Australian social entrepreneurs under 30.Young Social Pioneers is a unique leadership program that is dedicated to unleashing and celebrating the brilliance of young Australian social change makers. The year-long program invests in and supports eighteen inspired change makers aged 18 to 29. It provides mentoring, rigorous peer learning, skills development, leadership inquiry and international connections so that they can make a greater impact. Through start-up style projects, the Pioneers work in areas as diverse as education, the environment, health, human rights, the arts and technology. Many Pioneers are already punching above their weight, winning awards and fellowships locally and internationally. Young Social Pioneers sparks the courage and imagination of some of our best, bravest and brightest young change makers. Global Changemakers is a global youth network of social entrepreneurs, community activists and advocates between the ages of 16 and 25. Our mission is to empower youth to catalyse positive social change by providing them with skills, contacts, opportunities and a community of like-minded people pursuing the same goals. Every year a small number of participants are chosen from thousands to travel to regional and global summits to inspire them in their work and build capacity for greater change.
