Incoming Data Engineer I under Mastercard's Launch Program

Summer 2024 BizOps Engineering Intern working as the Guild Enterprise Data Transformation intern. This role is Data Engineering/Science focused and revolves around enterprise data.

Undergraduate Research Assistant tasked with running cloud computing processes to run code on large data deposits corresponding to individual research papers. Often, processes take days or weeks to run for more involved economics simulations. Wrote a final report on reproducibility for each paper.

Member of an autonomous engineering team that constructs an annual architectural, economical, and structural proposal of a building along with a physical wooden structure tested in an earthquake simulator at a worldwide competition.Team placed 2nd in 2022, 3rd in 2023, and 1st in 2024 out of ~40 global universities at annual competition.

Construction co-lead for the spring 2024 semester in which our team placed #1 at the EERI competition in Seattle.

Summer 2024 Intern working for the CBS News Research team with responsibilities such as writing daily and weekly performance reports, building a predictive model for viewership forecasts, and redesigning organizational data architecture.

Responsibilities included working on research poster development for multiple ASCRS conferences, conducting patient exams like HVF and OCT, collecting and analyzing data, cleaning data from a newly purchased practice into address labels, and leading a marketing initiative with local optometry offices across the city of Baltimore.

Patient appointment scheduling, analyzing office phone activity and writing reports, resolving insurance cases, tracking office inventory, and shadowing patient exams & occasional procedures.

• “Farmcraft” – I built a series of Minecraft games commissioned by the US State Department N.A.S.E.F. program distributed to embassies around the world. The game taught children in participating nations how to farm sustainably in their own climates.• Built a virtual museum exhibit utilizing Minecraft to teach young audiences about climate change for the M9 Museum in Venice, Italy. Project was contracted by Microsoft Education and the exhibit was free to access for all museum attendees 12 and under. • “Solar Vehicles” – Game I built delivered to the U.S. Army which they used to show the design process of solar-powered vehicles to young audiences who would then design and test their own solar-powered army vehicles. • Named as a global educator and content creator at the EDUtech Asia convention in Singapore on 11/10/2022. • Led an online community called “Blueprint Minecraft,” with over 1,000,000 insights on Instagram • Was invited to host presentations and workshops teaching architecture and engineering to young audiences using Minecraft at Microsoft-ran conventions with between 11,000-18,000 attendees per weekend in the following cities: San Mateo, CA (02/18); Edison, NJ (07/18, 08/19); Denver, CO (08/18); Washington D.C. (09/18); Philadelphia, PA (09/19).
