My name is Adam Floyd, and I am currently enrolled in the AACSB-accredited Barnett School of Business & Free Enterprise at Florida Southern College, pursuing a combined bachelor's and master's in accounting. I have been privileged to supplement my education with real-world accounting competencies gained through various internship experiences. Back at Florida Southern, I've held four leadership positions in different campus organizations like Delta Sigma Pi and the Dean's Advisory Council. I am an analytical thinker and excel at projects of a detail-oriented nature. I also have an intermediate level of proficiency in Spanish and am a Missouri Seal of Biliteracy recipient. Outside of the classroom, I have been able to volunteer at a retirement home and serve local start-up companies with free accounting support. I hope to continue to grow my network and eventually become a full-time associate in the accounting field upon graduation.
