Sport Solent is responsible for the Southampton PE and School Sport Partnership. The Partnership brings together Southampton schools, local authorities, National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGBs), sports associations, community clubs, leisure providers, as well as coaches and volunteers providing to all young people (5-16 years) high quality opportunities to take part in sport and physical activities.I was selected to be a member of a select group of coaches at the university, titled the 'Coaching Academy'. My duties included;- Delivering after school sessions in a variety of sports across Southampton.- Help organise and deliver events on a more regional basis, with schools coming from neighbouring counties to compete.- Get involved with CPD events to help continue my personal development, as well as the group as a whole.

Main duties included;- Planning and delivering high quality football coaching sessions through after school clubs and in school coaching (PPA).- Looking for players with exceptional talent, and recommending them to join the development centres at Chelsea FC.- Assisting the coaching at a development centre in Southampton.
