A new Chapter, a new company and I’m thrilled to announce the new position of Director and Owner of Adaptive DCS Ltd, a business offering Distribution, Consultancy and Sourcing Services to the Cycling, Outdoors, Leisure and Active Travel industries. Working with long term friend and business partner Dale Vanderplank we bring a combined 50 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Brand Building, Product Development, Product Sourcing and Distribution. The support from businesses, distributors, brands and industry peers since (..well, let’s no go there now) has been overwhelming and we are delighted to be offering support to some exciting brands & businesses. It’s great to have secured new clients already and be able to work with different companies, understand how they operate, work with new teams of passionate individuals and support their businesses objectives and requirements. 19th April 2022: Myself and the three other directors successfully completed a multi-million pound management buy out of the company to become the new owners.

A new challenge and opportunity to take on full responsibility for the brand management of our IBD portfolio across bicycles, accessories, components and soft goods. I have the task of leading a team of talented individuals to get the best results for our business in this ever changing and demanding bicycle market. In support of our sales objectives the team will be working with new goals to deliver full brand ownership which will consist of research, development, design, sourcing, merchandising, marketing strategy and communication.

Leading the bike team to develop the best products and manage the bike brands we own and distribute.

Responsible for product, marketing and sales for the BMX portfolio.

Responsible for Haro Bikes business across the UK, covering BMX and MTB product categories.

Responsible for selling the companies bicycle portfolio to dealers across the midlands, east anglia and north wales.

Weekend support only covering mechanics and sales on shop floor. Great industry experience gained from a retail environment whilst working at Moore Large full time.
