As Health and Safety Manager I am responsible for supporting all of the UK Business to manage the risks from the activities of staff and ensure compliance with safety legislation.- Implementing and developing safety management systems.- Providing hands on support and guidance to the property Management business for commercial, residential and rural property.- Maintaining accreditations including BS OHSAS 18001 and CHAS- Auditing compliance in 60+ offices across the UK- Delivering health and safety training- Accident investigation and claims management- Sourcing and managing numerous specialist consultancies- Developing, implementing and testing disaster recovery and business continuity plans- Maintaining the Firm's ISO 14001 Certification- Member of the global CSR (Building Foundations) committe, with responsibility for oversight of the environmental workstrwam- Overseeing the UK's procurement function and strategy- Overseeing the operation of our UK's print and post functionBut being part of a business is more than a job title. I have also:- Assisted with paperless office solutions for the residential sales business- Participated in a working group for the development and delivery of the Firm's Global intranet- Designed and developed tenant handbooks for the commercial property management service line.

During this role I was part of a team of health and safety advisors supporting the UK business of c10,000 employees.- Implementing fire safety training programs and evacuation plans across 20 buildings, including evacuation drills.- Developing online training including general induction, workstation assessments and fire safety.- Managing the permit to work team.- Accident investigations- Property inspections
