As the General Counsel and Senior Director of Community Affairs at El Valor, I lead the legal and external relations functions of a nonprofit organization that serves children, adults with disabilities, and families in the Latino and other communities. I have over 10 years of legal experience, as well as a passion for social justice and advocacy. I oversee all legal matters, contracts, compliance, and risk management for El Valor, as well as manage the relationships with funders, partners, media, and stakeholders. I also support the strategic planning, development, and implementation of El Valor's mission, vision, and values.
