I am currently leading a team of specialists delivering the Digital Engineering (DE) Framework for Transport for NSW. This program involves developing and implementing the standards, training, processes and technology to enable a step change in how the infrastructure sector in NSW plans, design and builds projects. The complex linear nature of infrastructure projects and the need to integrate DE into a multi-divisional organisation with many stakeholders, makes the role both challenging and exciting!Prior to this role I spent over 10 years’ in various project management positions on civil and transport infrastructure projects. During this time I was fortunate to lead and develop teams across a broad range of business functions, including Digital Engineering, Project Management, Project Controls, Engineering Assurance, and Contracts Admin. This hands-on experience developing, procuring and delivering small and large projects has proven critical in creating a scalable and integrated DE Framework. I am also a huge proponent of open data and actively contribute to the development of a DE future that maximises innovation while delivering tangible productivity benefits for NSW.
