Adam Griffiths is a Talent Acquisition Partner at Computershare focusing on Technology roles across the UK with some crossover into global roles. Adam left school after completing his Highers at James Gillespies in Edinburgh, he decided to join the army at the age of 17.joining the 1st battalion, royal regiment of Scotland, the royal Scots borderers. He then deployed to Afghanistan in September 2012. Upon learning a lot of skills from the British army such as team leadership, first aid, map reading and field craft. Adam decided to leave the forces because of the lack of scope for progression and financial gain.Adam decided to enter the marketing sector. Adam started trading with penmex in Edinburgh in June 2014. He worked in the field based sales team in penmex for two years. In this role he learned various sales skills and also progressed to advance leadership and crew management positions. This is where adam learned skills such as public speaking, interviewing, teaching and training and managing sales teams. From there Adam moved into the back end team at penmex providing support for the management in everything from from event co coordinating to recruitment. In November 2017 Adam Moved away from the sales and marketing industry to pursue a career in recruitment. There Adam joined REED Global specializing In Business Intelligence & Management Information within the Technology sector across Scotland.Following this Adam joined the Talent Acquisition Team at Computershare in August 2021 specializing in recruiting Technology roles.
