I completed a 16-week intensive coding bootcamp where I achieved proficiency in pair programming,automated testing, version control, and problem-solving. The course started with HTML, CSS, JS and then built upon these skills with React, Typescript and Next.js. We covered relational databases by using Postgres as well as designing RESTful APIs built on Express servers to communicate with them. We also covered automated testing and TDD with Jest, and Playwright. This experience equipped me with a strong foundation in coding and analytical thinking, preparing me for challenges in the dynamic field of tech.

I am responsible for the creation and ongoing development of a large and varied range of 3D printed products. Overseeing the products from inception into product testing and development through to point of sale and customer care. I have identified, qualified and taught myself to use an online CAD software to a proficient level to ensure my products are finished to a high standard. I have marketed my products nationwide over several platforms to drive consumer interest and brand awareness to reach my desired target audiences. I maintain oversight and control of the financial statements and records for the company; considering operating costs, machine maintenance, research and development, materials and product design.

I was responsible for generating and increasing transactional volume and revenue by cultivating clients with some of the company’s key products. I worked closely with the Head of Business Development, Training Consultants and other Business Development Managers in order to manage and nurture the relationships of a high volume of clients with a focus on increasing adoption and upselling additional solutions. I built strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the client sees Iress as a strategic partner essential to the growth of their business. I owned commercial negotiations and ongoing revenue forecasting for my clients.

I managed 50+ accounts to ensure both parties delivered on their contractual commitments, built mutually beneficial, sustainable relationships and ensured new opportunities were exploited. I led the development, implementation and adoption of the full suite of wealth products including iress.net, Mortgage and Protection products for my clients. I supported the delivery of new and enhanced product features and propositions. I clearly articulated adoption issues for my clients and assisted in identifying solutions for overcoming these.

I worked in a small team which meant that excellent teamwork is key. I built strong working relationships with my colleagues ensuring that the day to day business runs smoothly. I interacted with a large range of clients, quickly building rapport, identifying and maximising any opportunities. The agency was large enough to offer a varied range of clients, but small enough to build meaningful long-term relationships and really understand the customer needs and desires. I was the subject matter expert for technology within our office leading our continuous improvement in the use of technology. For example, I created VBA scripting within an Excel spreadsheet to improve quality and reduce processing time which was then distributed to the rest of the agency network. I regularly coached my colleagues, teaching them how to resolve their own issues which increases productivity by lowering downtime.
