Design of low voltage switchgear products for the power control and distribution industry. Operating in a fast paced, Engineer-to-Order environment with requirements to interface with both management and shop floor. Projects include departmental quality improvement team member, process improvement and automation, and mechanical design and specification of complex, electro-mechanical power systems.

Design of multidisciplinary systems for high precision robotics used in ultra high vacuum systems to conduct electrical characterization of nanometer scale devices on semiconductor integrated circuits. Areas of experience include:Nano robotics, MEMS design, mechanical and electrical testing of nanostructures and individual IC transistors, electrochemical etching processes, statistical process control, mechanical design reviews, documentation and reporting.

Part of the MEMS group, conducting research on using MEMS to perform mechanical characterization of individual carbon nanotubes. Also lab manager of 15 person modeling and analysis lab including ANSYS and COVENTOR.
