I believe I am an enthusiastic individual committed to working in a challenging and fast moving environment. My objectives in life are to remain consistent in achieving significant targets and growth whilst optimizing team potentials I find myself in. I am a creative and lateral thinker and intent in finding the best solutions to all problems. I have worked within strategic planning within the UK since 2008, following the completion of a Geography undergraduate degree and a MA in Spatial Planning. I started as a Trainee Planning Officer and I am currently a Principal Planning Officer on a 12 month sabbatical with a working holiday (Sub Class 417) visa in Australia. I have worked within numerous fields of strategic planning, including the production of Local Plans, Core Strategies and supplementary planning guidance. My main area of expertise is within residential schemes, especially providing detailed advice on planning policy and defending the Council at Appeals. However, I have worked with in all areas, including employment, retail, and the environment. I have also had a close working relationship with colleagues in Development Management and have had to provide policy input on many large schemes, both commercial and residential in nature. I have been a full member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 2011.I am currently on a 12 month sabbatical working as a Strategic Planner in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
