An aspiring new design graduate looking for an opportunity to excel in the world of design. I am currently working as a Design engineer for Hetta Systems. I am responsible for the quotation and design of underfloor heating projects. I converse with multiple Merchants and advise them with sales, technical information and design advice using CAD software like LoopCAD. Before this i was a Shift Manager for J.D. Wetherspoons. Within that role I am responsible for a number of staff including their Rotas, training, cellar control, customer complaints and general overseeing and management of the pub. I am eager to adapt the developed skillset and knowledge obtained into the real-world dynamics of Product Design. A very goal orientated individual recognised for working hard and meeting time-frame specific projects (within individual and alongside group-based teamwork).Whilst at university I have completed extensive concept sketches and researched horizon scanning and market trends. I am also an experienced model maker working with many materials during my time in education using Solidworks to create these concepts. I briefly completed working with Siemens shadowing their employees and demonstrating exercises to create a manufacturing line. Outside of work and university I often help my father in his business of garden design and maintenance. I play for the local football team and enjoy working as part of a team. For 8 years I volunteered as a scout and scout leader completing the Duke of Edinburgh award and winning the Cheshire night hike.Offering 100% flexibility to roster/shift work.
