Responsible for delivery of the IT components of:- Oriel Smart Hospital- EPR- Cloud Transition

In preparation for ESNEFT's Epic EPR Implementation, creating an encompassing data archiving strategy for the trust by reviewing the current in place solutions, legacy systems and options to proceed. Involving requirements for going to market, outline implementation plans and resourcing profiles with budgets.Utilising market knowledge to ensure the Trust are able to implement quickly and cost effectively and achieve the cash releasing benefits of their procured EPR solution.

Rescued £10M Document Management & Content Management system (EDCM) programme (part of Trust’s wider Epic Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation) to deliver document migration from legacy systems, day forwards integration with Epic and interfaces with ancillary systems.◦ Reduced projected £6.6M overspend to bring programme back within budget by retendering for resources, renegotiating with suppliers, increasing resource utilisation and productivity◦ Locked down scope of EDCM programme by bringing in 7x Business Analysts to complete System Discovery on legacy systems across 3x organisations, identifying 96M legacy documents to be moved from 42 legacy systems◦ Agreed scope with all stakeholders (Executive, Clinical and Operational)◦ Took leadership to resolve issues across Epic integration, Scanning, Interfaces and EDCM functionality, including responsibility for commercials, budgets, testing, analysis, and reporting◦ Reset challenging commercial relationships with numerous suppliersKey Achievements:◦ Within 12 months the EDCM programme went from off budget, off timescale and an ill-defined scope to successful delivery against all key performance indicators (KPIs), including functional interfaces, migration of all legacy documents and Epic integrations.Consequently I assisted with:◦ Identifying and take ownership of the trusts Long Term Data Archiving Programme for Legacy Systems Data- Conducting thorough review of the current approach and determined its technical infeasibility, and then undertook a rapid evaluation of possible solutions including presenting those to Senior Trust Executives and providing guidance- Working with commercial and procurement teams to rapidly conclude contractual negotiations to keep within required time constraints.- Standing up a Project Team with the appropriate resources, providing management oversight, steering, commercial management and budgetary control over the LTA programme.

Managed all aspects of 50 floors to support SystemC Medway go live, identifying customer requirements for support:◦ Revived relationship between HSS and North Bristol by evaluating situation thoroughly, gathering requirements, building trust, promoting collaboration, formulating plans, and securing agreement with HSS management team.

Integral to design, build, and roll-out of highly-complex Trust Peer Training Programme compromising 160 different courses to c40K staff and led end-to-end implementation of learning management system, involving:◦ Managing 5x Training Leads and team of x15 managing 3rd party suppliers (Filled 50% of vacant posts in first 4 weeks)◦ Headed 28x Training Developer resources creating training material and building/testing training environment◦ Responsible for the output of 500 different resources delivering a complex training programme◦ Secured £4.3M for training facilities and established Training Help Desk Key Achievements:◦ Identified resourcing issues and resolved them in a rapid manner to enable the team to keep pace with external change factors within the wider programme and enable a successful delivery path for the largest training programme at that time in the NHS EPR space.

Leading a team of Trainers to develop and deliver a Training Programme comprising approx. 50x Training Courses to 10,500 members of staff across 2x Trusts and 4x different sites.

Ensured the achievement of client requirements and tight timelines in the delivery of; Allscripts Clinical Manager EPR solution, comprising 6x Key deliverables.Key Achievements:◦ Delivered Phase 1 of Communications & Resulting work scope in 6 months, 3 times faster than initial 18-month timeframe with a seamless Go-Live.

Sought personally by the Program Director to optimise Allscripts solutions expertise to facilitate sales by providing professional services sales support, and subsequently assigned to Oracle 19c Project.

Appointed personally to support the continuous improvement of IT Infrastructure and Software Development by ensuring the on-time/on-budget implementation of all assigned projects (e.g. Red Hat Linux 7 Upgrade) in accordance with regional program standards.

Provided holistic IT services for local businesses, including Networking, Firewalls, websites/eCommerce and an HR solution (based on NodeJS/Javascript hosted using MS Azure functions with an Azure Cosmos DB (similar to AWS Dynamo DB).
