I led a variety of client and account teams in uncovering audience insights, developing strategy and executing integrated marketing and communications campaigns across a variety of industries. Client experience included Kiwanis International, Eli Lilly & Co., Roche Diagnostics and providing leadership support for other colleagues in developing client strategy.

Directed brand research, strategy and campaign development for Scotts LawnService to distinguish the service side of a category-leading consumer packaged good. Campaign elements included broadcast, print, direct mail, OOH, media planning/buying, PR, digital and social media.Oversaw the development of national TV campaigns and digital marketing elements for Stanley Steemer. The campaigns consistently drove increased sales, leads and social media buzz. Directed brand strategy and creative development for Knauf Insulation, which resulted in the launch of the home energy efficiency coalition, Energy Response Corps. Automotive Events, Inc. is a full-service public relations and marketing agency that specializes in the development and management of authentic public relations events, experiential marketing programs, motorsports events, and training solutions for clients in the automotive and motorsports industries.At Automotive Events I:Planned, managed and executed all motorsports communications initiatives for Volkswagen of America, including the company’s clean diesel racing series, the Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup.Implemented a social media initiative for Volkswagen Motorsports. Planned public relations strategies for new Volkswagen model introductions.Managed the strategy and implementation of the agency’s new business efforts, including development of the company Web site, writing new business proposals and marketing collateral messaging.

In a consulting role, I served as a public relations consultant for Philip Morris USA/Team Penske in the IndyCar Series. Wrote and coordinated design and production of various communications materials to promote the team and its drivers to the media and other constituencies. Coordinated media relations activities for the team’s drivers (Sam Hornish Jr., Helio Castroneves and Ryan Briscoe).

Planned and executed all public relations initiatives for Red Bull Cheever Racing during the 2005 IndyCar Series season.

Developed and implemented public relations and advertising campaigns, wrote various communications pieces, coordinated media relations activities, and managed graphic design projects for several of the agency's clients.
