I’ve contributed to the standardization of operational reporting of results using SAP Superquery tool and built analysis tools for all Americas sites. I was the business partner to Americas VP of Operations, initiating regular monthly cost and forecast reviews, and cascading to plant leadership. I completed DCF analyses to justify and optimize long-term drilling investment at Silver Peak, NV lithium carbonate operation. I’ve undertaken many decision modeling projects, including plant rationalization, product and pricing strategies, major capital investment, NPV, and manufacturing scenarios. The following are highlights of the value I’ve brought to Albermarle Corporation: I reduced month-end plant close from 4 days to 1 day at United States sites, and 4 days to 2 days at Chilean sites.  I implemented the first monthly forecasting requirements at each location, taking the plants from one annual update to monthly updates. I led monthly manufacturing reporting for 3 US Lithium sites, and 6 international sites, thus reducing submission time by 4 days.

Harmany is a startup mobile app company I created in 2017 to solve the problem of how to house evacuees during large-scale disasters. Harmany was a 2018 semi-finalist for Established Media's Startup of the Year competition, and has received critical acclaim, including being named one of NPR's "17 Best Mobile Apps To Get You Through The Storm".

In my role as Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis for this world leader in specialized alloys and components for the Aerospace, Oil & Gas, and Defense industries, I created and consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts for 30 plant facilities worldwide. I reported on daily, weekly, and monthly cash position and status of collections, in addition to developing weekly and quarterly operating plans with plant managers. The following are highlights of the value I brought to Precision Castparts Corporation: I prepared and reviewed monthly and quarterly business unit presentations, reducing quarterly submission time by one week. I designed tools to streamline commercial forecasting process and more accurately project sales of multiple product lines.  I owned SOX controls for complete LCM analysis, obsolete and slow-moving inventory, and executive presentations.

I held two influential positions for this global retailer of iron ore and met coal. From 2009-2012, I was Financial Analyst for the North American Business Unit and from 2012-2014 I was Plant Controller at Pinnacle Mine in Beckley, WV. I accomplished much in these challenging roles including modeling effective volume and cost strategies to ensure operational survival during a low-pricing environment. I also implemented a new ERP and corporate chart of accounts and oversaw all relevant chart conversions at the site through work orders, purchase orders, project IDs, and automated reports. I developed all necessary training material for a seamless transition between systems. I led the payroll function at the site. The following are highlights of the value I’ve brought to Cliff Natural Resources: I authored insurance summaries for two business interruption claims that recovered $75M in damages.  I worked closely with Supply Chain to reduce warehouse inventory by $4M or 39% during 2013. Highest reduction in the company. With Operations, I developed campaigning schedule and overtime reductions to drive down labor costs by $12M annually.

Supported the development of a more robust business and financial framework for struggling urban school districts within the frame of an MBA strategic and financial internship. Fundamentally reshaped the district-wide FDA meal reimbursement process in order to decrease filing time from 75 days to 30 days, thus adding $2.2 million to the Food and Nutrition Services Department’s yearly cash flow.
