Develop and maintain piping materials and manual valve specifications to support customer capital and MOC projects for Oxy offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico (Lucius, Heidelberg, Holstein, Marlin, Constitution, Gunnison, Nansen, Boomvang, Horn Mountain)Approve piping isometric drawings with material take-off lists used by fabricators to construct, test, and install offshore piping to ASME B31.3/B31.1/B31.4/B31.8 standards.Support mechanical equipment packages (valves and piping components) from bid phase through procurement with technical evaluation and documentation review/approval. Act as the SME for API 6A valves and chokes.Perform piping stress analysis (e.g. compressor station) with Cesar II software to evaluate ASME code compliance, support and nozzle loadings, pipe deflections/thermal growth, and modal analysis.Develop corporate standard checklists and procedures for checking piping isometric drawings and creation/maintenance of piping material specifications.

New product development engineering, creating machine detail drawings, performing classical calculations for design files, developing finite-element-analyses, communicating with external vendors for procurement of prototype parts, qualification testing of prototypes
