Kinesiologist
Current- Assessment and treatment of clients based on their physical rehabilitation goals. Collaboration with Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, and other evidence-based treatment providers.- Developing therapeutic exercise plans in accordance with the patient's diagnosis, restrictions and limitations, symptoms, and functional capacity. Specialized exercises with GLAD program.- Implementing therapeutic modalities and assessment techniques, including gait analysis, CVT, MMT, AROM, PROM, and vestibular rehabilitation. - Efficiently assessed and executed treatment regimens for patients' injuries, reviewing patient records, transporting patients, and administering modalities such as heat, cold, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound to injury sites.- Providing Functional Ability Evaluations (FAEs) for Occupational related injuries, and MVA patients in conjunction with Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, General Practitioners, Orthopedic Surgeons, etc. (testing for lifting, carrying, push/pull, standing, sitting, and ambulation evaluations)- Supervision and education of co-op students (PTA/OTA + High school students) throughout their semesters- Creating Home Exercise Programs (HEPs) for the ongoing progression of discharged patients- Administrative duties such as answering calls, scheduling appointments, POS, as well as high proficiency in Microsoft Word and OutlookCertifications:- TRX (Total Body Resistance) for rehab and bodyweight training - ART (Active Release Therapy, Spine Level I)- KT Tape Certification - Agatsu Strength and Speed Specialist - Level I
