Since being honorably discharged from the United States Army as an Infantry Squad leader. My enlistment and overseas service in Iraq and Afghanistan to welding in the oilfields of Prudhoe Bay AK and North Dakota; prove that I am no stranger to non-stop operations, dedication to my duties, attention to detail, long hours on my feet, working in a range of adverse weather conditions, and safe work practices. August 2013 I took my desire to be a part of the welding industry to the next level. I attended an accredited structural welding school at Northern Industrial Training (N.I.T.). I certified in SMAW and FCAW per AWS D1.1 standard in all positions with unlimited thickness, section IX, pressure vessel code book (ASME IX) in open root pipe welding (smaw root). During the 960-hour trade school at N.I.T. I also obtained a (40) hour Hazwopper certification.
