Model UN is a club where students represent a country's delegation, go to a conference, and debate their countries' international policies. The debate lasts for days until the committee drafts a resolution that everyone agrees to sign. I enjoyed the vigorous debate, international policy, and professionalism. I was part of something bigger than myself, community, or country. The intensity kept me actively speaking, writing notes, and drafting resolutions. I served as the Under-Secretary-General of Delegate Affairs for YLSBCMUN. Being a secretariat member was my dream. It is unheard of to be invited to a position of this nature; however, due to my award status and experience running Model UN at my school, I was invited to the position. My role was to work closely with the Secretary-General to oversee delegates. I oversaw the registration process, country assignments, position paper collection, and communications with external parties. The secretariat met weekly, and I spent between 3-10 hours weekly working on the conference planning. After hours of planning, we had to cancel the conference due to the COVID-19 lockdown. Through this experience, I gained invaluable skills in communication, delegation, teamwork, and time management.

I founded the Model UN club at my school because I wanted to share my amazing experience with others. I found nine members, worked one-on-one assisting with papers, registrations, meetings, and led an hour training season weekly. Months later, we attended a conference. I was overwhelmed and amazed; I went into committee rooms and saw delegates I trained speaking and creating resolutions. Fast forward one year, getting an overwhelmingly positive response from students eager to join, I put my presidency up for a vote and ran unopposed. I had almost forty students show interest in the club. I created presentations to train the delegates, led mock sessions, giving country assignments, topics, and research. These sessions allowed the delegates to learn, while I learned how to oversee debate and moderate correctly. Thirteen students signed up for the conference; unfortunately, it was canceled due to the COVID-19 lockdown.

- Entrepreneurial Venture in Kingston, Ontario, attempted to start a Bike Share Company in partnership with the City of Kingston similar to Toronto Bike Share and Shaw Go Bike (Vancouver)- Arranged Formal Proposal for the City of Kingston and had multiple meetings with City Planner and Other Departments to try and work out a deal.- Created a profit-sharing system with the City of Kingston for the usage of public property and sourced equity investors to fund the remainder of the project.- Unfortunately, the City of Kingston did not accept the project, which concluded the venture. I still plan to pursue this venture in another city such as Guelph, London ON or other.

Created and presented a TEDed talk based on my thoughts and experiences about Judgement.

In Grade 10, I was elected to the Student Council executive team as the Grade 10 representative. My school had just opened, so we focused on building school spirit and ensuring new students' safe environment. I worked with members to put on events for students such as spirit weeks, rallies, seasonal activities, and more. The biggest concern was winter formal; my school administration would not allow a senior winter formal. I oversaw organizing the winter formal and had to create an event that would please both the students and the administration. I learned problem-solving skills, how to delegate, and compremization.
