My legal practice concentrates on negotiating and closing sophisticated transactions, focusing primarily, though not exclusively, in the agricultural industry. Within BME's Agribusiness Group, my role is to serve private companies and private equity investors in a broad range of transactions in the agricultural industry. Our team of attorneys within the Agribusiness Group apply real estate, corporate, securities, partnership and tax law to complex business transactions involving the acquisition, ownership, financing and operation of agricultural assets.From a business services standpoint, our team represents the full spectrum of agricultural mergers, acquisitions, expansions, and wind downs, including: acquiring companies, joint ventures, target and selling companies, majority and minority interest holders, and partnership interests. We provide solutions to our clients, who look to us for help in every aspect of a transaction, including financing, regulatory approval, due diligence, valuation and operational issues. We have both the resources and experience to complete the largest and most complex purchase or sale of agricultural assets anywhere in the world.Our team has the transactional depth to handle deals of all sizes, ranging from a few hundred thousand dollars to more than $1 billion, encompassing every major method of buying and selling companies and assets, such as negotiated stock purchases, cash transactions, tender offers, spinoffs, restructurings, divestitures, management buyout transactions, exchange offers, and auctions.
