Partnership Tax Matters Tax preparer of State Composite, Partnership, and Withholding Tax Returns for KPMG LLPCalculate and preparepayments for over 40 composite and withholding quarterly estimates. Prepare CA/NY transfer analysis and CA withholding waivers. Review Federal and State K-1s. Review partner’s taxable income recons. Partnership Tax Matters.

- Spearheaded the US tax filings for 90 non-resident partners.- Contact person to our outside accounting providers regarding partner's US tax returns.- Respond to partner's individual income tax notices from various taxing agencies.- Manage the internal stages of our non-resident alien tax returns from the tax organizers through depositing the refunds. - Add, dispose, and monitor global fixed assets, as well as calculate/record monthly depreciation according to universal and local tax law.- Calculate and prepare quarterly NYC Unincorporated Business Tax returns.- Calculate apportionment factors and prepare and file multiple state quarterly tax filings. - Calculate monthly cash flow projections and estimated quarterly tax payments.- Assist in the preparation of annual tax letters to be distributed to each partner.- Prepare policy documentation for tax department procedures.- Reconcile tax expense accounts monthly, by GL account and location of tax imposed.- Reconcile Fixed Asset System to general ledger monthly.- Perform ad-hoc analysis on accounts.- Preform ad-hoc tax research.- Assist in completion of annual external audits. - Assist with PE calculations and analysis.- Assist with the NY State Sales and Use Tax monthly returns, audit and calculate/prepare quarterly sales tax refund requests.- Manage and analyze time worked outside the US for PE analysis, tax purposes and foreign tax credit. Also, assist in global policy implementation for proper recording and monitoring for international time worked. - Manage year end documentation requests for composite and International tax filings.- Prepare quarterly capital comparison analysis. - Manage Partner information database.- Add, activate, and maintain all global vendor requests. - Researched abandon property rules for NY and DC and identified additional outstanding monies.
