Adam was appointed QC (now KC) in 2021 after a stellar career as senior junior (Chambers & Partners Junior of Year for Banking in 2015 and Commercial Disputes in 2017), being ranked for many years as one of the very top commercial juniors. He is known for combining an unstuffy teamwork approach with forceful yet charming court and arbitration advocacy and a deep engagement with the law (as to which, he is the sole author of the leading practitioner text The Law of Contract Damages, now in its 3rd edition and often cited by courts and arbitral tribunals).He is instructed on many of the leading disputes of the day, maintaining a top-flight practice across the full breadth of commercial litigation and arbitration, with particular experience of large litigation, long trials, quantum, fraud interlocutories, and group claims.
