I am a technology professional growing in the field of cybersecurity and aspiring to transition into a professional cybersecurity role. A key interest is to work in a Security Operations Center (SOC) as a threat detection and incident response analyst. This field is a passion for me as it provides a rewarding and challenging career while encompassing my enthusiasm for technology and keeping information and endpoint devices safe from cyber threats, which is of paramount importance. In pursuit of this passion, as of June 2023, I completed a hands-on cybersecurity professional certificate program at Penn State University to develop and enhance my skills and knowledge in Microsoft security, computer networking, cloud security, Linux security, network security, cyber infrastructure and technology, Python, ethical hacking, Digital Forensics Incident Response (DFIR), threat hunting, and game theory. The program included 400 hours of training and hands-on labs. My instructors were leaders in their field and I'm applying the skills learned in real-world security simulations and scenarios.I'm excited to leverage my transferable skills and technical education in a professional role to provide support with security concerns.
