Art director of The Sunday Times' untemplated glossy magazine, STM. Gave the magazine a strong brand identity and voice with the public, attracting advertisers through strong art direction on photo shoots, playful and strong typography/layout and commissioning illustrations. Generated marketing promotions and advertorial concepts containing stitched in lift-outs and fashion shoots. Produced STM banners and graphics for Sunday Times website PerthNow.Redesigned The Sunday Times paper from scratch. Envisioned typography, layouts, editorial concepts and templating accross all platfoms in 2012.Selected to design a plaque for Rupert Murdoch – with only an hour from briefing to a pitch meeting with the Australian CEO of News Corp. Used a photo of Murdoch and created a typographical treatment of a key quote in tints of red, green and blue – RGB, the colours of the web, where newspapers were heading. This was printed on clear frameless acrylic.
