As Manager of the Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence, I am responsible for the elite Data Science team at PACCAR. I also have the responsibility of overseeing PACCARs Master Data Management efforts, alongside broader, senior responsibilities within the PACCAR Digital Services team. In my time in this position, I have rolled out a new Data Science Product strategy, ensuring that data science models are delivered to the business users who need them, via API or other methodologies - and that the ROI of those models can be tracked via increased margin or other provable metrics. I led the creation of an MLOps platform for use not just on the team, but within the broader PACCAR environment, ensuring experiment tracking, automated model retraining, and data and model drift detection capabilities exist for any new model going into production, reducing the operations burdens on our data scientists. Successfully deployed machine learning products include lead generation modeling and automated Weibull creation for part reliability after the warranty period, among others.Other responsibilities within Digital have led to my development of a wide variety of skills within the Digital space, including contract negotiations and securing internal funding, as well as an understanding of the execution of a broader digital strategy, from cloud engineering to networking and security, within an organization.

As the digital services product manager for PACCAR IT, I coordinated the ingestion and execution of data and analytics products between our cloud, data, integrations, and data science teams. I also work closely with PACCARS CDO and department leadership to help shape various elements of PACCARs digital transformation strategy - and then clearly communicate that product vision across divisions, teams, and management levels.

As a Data Scientist, I am responsible for the full stack inplementation of advanced data analytics projects at PACCAR. This includes working with business stakeholders to identify needs, using R and Python for ETL, EDA and feature engineering tasks, and constructing a machine learning model to successfully address the problem. Finally, I am responsible for the deployment of these models, primarily on AWS.My most recent project involved mapping traffic pattern density in the US as an engineered feature, and consisted of 4.9 Billion rows of data. At the conclusion of the project, it was conservatively estimated to have an impact of $3.9M over three years.In addition to producing and editing the team's analytics newsletter, viewed by over 2,000 employees, I also serve as the team's Agile Scrum Master, successfully blending CRISP_DM into an Agile pipeline.
