This came with a swift learning curve on how to effective and quickly communicate between time zones.• I was responsible for delivering weekly & monthly management reports, staff management, group financial reporting, monthly budget reviews, quarterly board presentations. • I facilitated the day to day financial bookkeeping of Operatix. Including; RTI Payroll, weekly supplier payments, global debtor & creditor control, VAT management, in-house HR, daily cashflow management.• I created a global sales campaign cost control process. This control allowed the managers and wider company visibility on active sales campaigns and the current resource cost associated with those. This made sure we can deliver sales campaigns whilst keeping them profitable. This was an initiative driven by myself after seeing unprofitable campaigns were a product of managers not knowing the budget they had for the campaign and the resources they've used.• This job lead to a redundancy because they shifted all of their administration costs to the US as they were creating a new HQ in the US and were consolidating into one cost centre.

This period of time taught me to grind. The work was vast and time consuming, often 7 days a week, it was a huge reason my work ethic is where it is today and blossomed my love for business start ups and the belief I have what it takes to be a business owner. • I serviced 7 companies that ranged from telecoms install and maintenance, a saas company, beauty therapy salon to commercial property management.• I was the one man accounting department.
