As a Floor and Till Assistant, my duties included:• Working 24 hours a week while in college in one of Woodies biggest and busiest stores.• Aiding in the weekend sales targets for the store that have been set by managers.• Providing an excellent standard of customer service to gain consumer retention for the business.• Undertaking stock replenishments when needed to maximize sales for the store but also for customer appeal.• Gained the experience on tills required to finish off sales for the business all with a smile on my face.• Used the tills to get to know the consumers better and able to recognize their faces for the next time they visit.• Received training on Woodies Kitchens department while our branch had no Design Consultant.• Closed off multiple deals for for the kitchens department, which could not have been achieved for the business without my training as there was no design consultant.• Involved in the maintenance and general upkeep of the store which includes facing off stock, closing and opening of the store, daily safety checks for the store sections and equipment, etc...
