About Adam Malcolm

With a passion for chemistry, math and physics both inside and out of the lab, I have trained in the fields of inorganic/physical chemistry and chemical physics. My passions truly lie in the subdisciplines of organometallic and main group chemistry. My academic experience consists of experimental instrument design; inert atmosphere synthesis and analysis; low temperature and ultra-high vacuum analysis of small organic molecules, and organic polymer synthesis and catalysis. My career has taken me through both small and large scale corporations, with fast paced progression from bench-level analyst up to top level management positions. I have trained, mentored, and managed over 30 people throughout my academic and professional career, including teams of up to 10 employees. I aim to work towards developing chemical products and services that steer business towards meeting strategic sales and exceeding stakeholder expectations. In addition to passion for building up the chemical and scientific rigor of the businesses I work for, I also bring to the table a love for whisky, an embarrassingly encyclopedic knowledge of comic books, a penchant for espousing the intricacies of bizarre mathematical concepts, and a knack for adapting to and learn nearly any scientific discipline I find myself in.

Listed skills include Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Spectroscopy, Process Engineering, and 31 others.
