At Captain, a booking platform for fishing and hunting trips built on the TALL stack (Tailwind, Alpine, Laravel, Livewire), I helped transition from Bootstrap and jQuery to Tailwind and Alpine.js, ensuring a seamless implementation of a given design. I spearheaded the deep integration with HubSpot, enabling seamless data synchronization. Later, I developed an Admin Panel/CRM using Filament and Reverb, which replaced HubSpot, saving costs and bringing all communications under our control via Twilio, SES, and Gmail. Additionally, I created productivity tools, including an algorithm that automated trip replacements, achieving a 95% success rate and recovering potential lost revenue.

Developed Givemethevin.com from end to end. Created an algorithm using various RESTful APIs to calculate pricing and Google APIs to calculate transportation costs. Customized an open source customer relationship management application based on SugarCRM. Added SMS and phone system to the CRM using the Twilio API and Ring Central. Imported mail using IMAP and Gmail API. Sending mail via SendGrid. Generated reports using custom SQL. Currently managing a small team of web developers while working on improvements and more integrations. Managing code base and code reviews using GIT. Furthering my CRM, project management, and open source development skills.

Built and maintained hundreds of websites for the auto dealer industry across the country. Designed and developed a custom framework for rapid website creation using PHP, Foundation framework and SASS. Built an inventory engine to display, search, and sort live inventory. Integrated various third-party scripts, SOAP APIs and REST APIs for use within the websites. Managed customer relationships by integrating with various CRM systems including a company owned proprietary software. Parsed and generated ADF XML. Converted out dated Flash into Java Script using Jquery and custom scripts. Sharpened my CRM and API integration skills.
