Logics Academy is a leader in K-12 STEM, Robotics, and Coding solutions. I wore several hats at Logics. As an educator, I delivered experiential STEM programs to hundreds of students in Toronto and the GTA, including classroom and community based learning. I also trained hundreds of educators across Canada in how to integrate education technology solutions in response to the pandemic and beyond. As a curriculum developer, I developed comprehensive learning materials for students that were fully integrated with provincial/state curricula. These materials developed students' coding skills, design skills and scientific knowledge with age-appropriate challenges. For example: Program a digital robot to improve sustainable forestry practices.

1. I consolidated 7 years of freshwater minnow data into a database using Microsoft Access. The data were collected from an experiment conducted in the IISD Experimental Lakes Area from 2003 to 2010. 2. I produced a report summarizing impacts of caged aquaculture on the native minnow population and community structure.

I instructed introductory statistics tutorials for 600 students across 4 departments, teaching to 100+ students at a time. Tutorials taught descriptive and inferential statistics and graphing in the R statistical environment. I also coordinated teaching assistants including training and scheduling, and developed new group tutorial activities and online learning content.

I developed the lab curriculum for Introductory Statistics, a new core course for all undergraduates in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen's University. As part of the labs, I developed team-based challenges that used recent case-studies as examples to introduce statistical analyses and graphing in R.

I lead tutorials and laboratory activities covering a large range of techniques such as microscopy, species identification, scientific writing, and statistical analyses using R and Microsoft Excel.
