UVC is a multimedia, non-profit organization dedicated to depolarization and community care through content creation. Our mission at Uncommon Voices Collective is to welcome each person and their unique story into our community of empathy, connection, and continuous learning for the enrichment of all. We examine eight key areas of culture (entertainment, education, daily living, politics, economics, media, faith, and social life) through the lens of story-telling for the purpose of bringing people and communities together.

Legal & Development Team (Graduate Fellowship), Interim Director of CommunicationsBrought on for Legal/Development work, COVID-19 quickly shifted internal structuring. I assisted with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) clients to renew their applications and ensure all was in order before sending on to Staff Attorneys as well as worked to organize the organization's yearly Gala (this one virtual) when the low-cost legal aid service began their search for an Executive Director in the midst of a pandemic. My abilities known, I was promoted to became responsible for all digital and printed communication within the San Gabriel Valley community and with the IRCSGV's supporters, was responsible for all social media platforms, and was the central liaison for the IRCSGV website. I wrote donor communications, outreach documents, and press releases in the then-absence of an Executive Director.

School of Theology & School of Intercultural StudiesInternal communication between the Dean of the School of Theology and the School of Intercultural Studies with the President's Office, Provost's Office, Faculty, and Students in the midst of a re-structuring which culminated in one Dean over the newly-created School of Mission and Theology. On large and small-scale projects alike, I served administratively tracking sabbaticals, processing faculty reimbursements, and any necessary research. I also transcribed interviews for the Fuller Youth Institute's 'Living a Better Story' project [LABS] and worked with doctoral students in Clinical Psychology as a 'therapy client'.

Worked for a small boutique law firm specializing in ICE Deportation Defense, Criminal Defense (and Post-Conviction Relief), and Personal Injury. Reported direc|tly to Founding Partner managing a small team of legal researchers, investigators, and interns. Performed legal research and assisted in the preparation of all memorandums, briefs, and motions. Also maintained filing system and all databases, managed office finances, and scheduled and greeted clients.

Assisted the Global Initiatives team in designing and implementing all international programs for BBA/MBA students working closely in operations management alongside the Director.

Was assigned to the Juvenile Abuse/Neglect docket. I worked with clients, spent significant amounts of time in the courtroom, did various legal research and writing, led prison interviews, and investigated alleged crime scenes. At the Public Defender's office I worked closely with both Prosecutors and Defense Attorneys, state/local officials, and social workers.

Analyzed and presented memoranda on a weekly load of potential clients, prepared reports and advocacy materials on the latest issues in post-conviction litigation, maintained connections with groups able to assist exonerated clients, and assisted the litigation team with ongoing case pleadings and investigations.

Executive Assistant to the Director of MACECE – Database Revision, General Research, Communication Liaison between MACECE & Current/Former Fulbright Recipients

White House Internship Program: Was responsible for editing/writing portions of weekly reports, organizing logistics of both internal meetings and those between the President and various Cabinet members, taking part in conference calls, general note taking & research, and crafting a Briefing Binder each day for the Cabinet Secretary. Assisted in the coordination of policy and communications with Cabinet-level agencies and across the Administration.
