I am a hard working, fast learning individual who thrives off completing tasks to the highest standard.I sub contracted with a local decorating company, working alongside time served decorators I really started to develop the skills and knowledge base needed to become a painter and decorator. I learnt many different techniques and methods of painting including; spraying newbuild properties, applying different types of paints to both internal and external surfaces, sanding down and varnishing a variety of wood to a high quality finish. During this time I feel like I've learnt of the problems that decorators come across in their day to day work and have learnt the steps in which to rectify these issues.Prior to this, i have 2/3 years of experience in the groundworking industry including:Laying drainageLaying kerbsConcrete pouringDumper and roller experienceGeneral health and safetyI enjoy completing and overcoming a challenge, this is what made me join celvac and for over a year I achieved experience cleaning pumping stations and big industrial tanks on some of the UK's biggest sewage treatment sites. This is when I realised I enjoyed the work in this industry as no two day is the same.
