During my time in this role I have further developed my communication skills through engaging with customers. I have also gained the ability to pour the perfect pint of Guinness.

I am currently working as a Sports Advisor in Intersport Elverys in the Killarney branch. Throughout my years in Elverys I have had to opportunity to learn many new skills such as sales methods, stock taking, the use of the till and giving knowledgeable advice to customers.

Having worked in a job where you are dealing with tourists every day I feel as though my communication skills improved massively. My main tasks in this role were cleaning mobile homes, gardening maintenance and overall maintenance of the caravan park.

I worked as part of an event management team for events such as triathlons and marathons. My role was to ensure race participants had the necessary equipment for the race, answer any questions or queries they had and direct traffic. Being a part of a team gave me a good sense of how important teamwork is within the workplace.
