In this role, Adam was responsible for seeking out commercially beneficial opportunities to develop existing customer relationships, offering them the most relevant products and services at the right time. To do this, he was responsible for using advanced analytical techniques on our existing customer data to understand where these opportunities lie, and to then create commercially viable business cases to help drive value for the business through below the line marketing campaigns.

This placement involved Adam working as a Data Planner in the Customer Value Management department. His main responsibilities included data planning for key below the line multi-channel campaigns which drove £84k worth of 3YMP value plus churn mitigation. Adam also worked specifically on helping to deepen our existing customer relationships, predominantly promoting HIVE and Landlord Insurance products.

This placement involved Adam working as a Customer Value Analyst within the Insight and Analytics department. His main responsibility was assist in owning, maintaining and enhancing our internal value model for use in business wide strategic decision making. Was also responsible for leading on designing and distributing our value reports to key stakeholders and acting upon ad-hoc data requests using advanced SQL skills through Teradata and Hadoop.

Windsor Millstream

This was a YINI position for Adam within Power Business Development in Centrica Energy with his key responsibility being researching key development opportunities within the upstream energy market. Was also responsible for creating and managing a cloud-based UK Powerplant assets database on Salesforce and capturing and analysing qualitative and quantitative industry data.

Essex, Uk

This was a Summer Placement sales training position for Adam which used door-to-door fundraising as a platform to learn face-to-face sales skills. The 9-week programme was entirely sales performance driven with a heavy focus on personal sales statistics, in which he achieved a recognition prize for consistently high sales (over 50 sign ups) and raised a projected figure of £5724 for the charity ‘Practical Action.’

Responsibilities included managing the day-to-day running of a 16-bed hotel and restaurant, serving customers face to face, managing stock control and completing daily financial tasks.

Employee of a catering events business waiting (both food and drinks) for various events up to 200 covers including: funerals, weddings and parties at such establishment as Longleat.Responsibilities included kitchen preparation of both main meals and canapés, organising the out front workforce in terms of the logistics of the food and bar services offered, and kitchen porter work including washing up and kitchen preparation.
