• Member of an efficient fundraising team – identified and contacted prospective donors to help fundraise over $1 million annually for Morehead, including over $700,000 for the NC Science Festival in 2017. • Initiates relationships with new donor prospects for Morehead through first contacts, initial visits, prospect qualification, cultivation, and solicitation. Responsible for membership and gifts from individuals, organizations, and corporations up to $15,000 with a focus on MPSC Annual Fund and UNC’s Next Generation Campaign.• Create, implement and manage a centralized donor recognition program for the unit. Initiate and coordinate appropriate donor recognition activities. Through a variety of recognition activities, build relationships with donors on behalf of the unit and the University. • Develops key campus and community alliances in order to achieve strategic goals.• Responsible for development and management of an alumni relations program designed to keep former full-time and student employees engaged through events and communication to encourage philanthropic support for MPSC now and in the future. • Work with students, alumni, faculty, staff, volunteers, and board members to achieve fundraising goals.• Took on the planning and execution of the 2016 Jupiter Ball, annual fundraising gala, and the 2016 UNC Science Expo as part of the NC Science Festival.

Supervise student employees who are greeters for all guests and train the employees in professional communication.• Manage the events policy and procedures, requiring extensive knowledge of University policy. • 2012 Poythress Service Award Winner• Promoted quickly to high responsibility roles in Athletic Operations, only non-fulltime Athletic Department staff member to be Game Day Manager -- always selected for post season NCAA and ACC official events. Assist UNC sports marketing on-site.• Supervise Sport Administration graduate students, fellow UNC staff, UNC students, and community members on game day – while also hosting visiting teams, accommodating coaches and officials.
