Advised companies with employees entering and exiting government.- Successfully defended a major global financial services company against contract claims totaling over $1 billion in two separate ICC arbitrations sited in London. - Successfully represented a major global retailer in a Hong Kong-sited arbitration under the UNCITRAL rules, obtaining an award worth more than $80 million. - Successfully argued the Federal Circuit appeal of a major software intellectual property infringement case against the federal government, overturning a trial verdict in a precedential opinion.- Successfully defended an American manufacturer against injunctive relief in an ICDR arbitration. - Represented Duke University in civil litigation arising out of the lacrosse team controversy.- Successfully represented the trade association of the American ethanol industry as intervenor in the DC Circuit.- Worked with the ACLU in a successful Establishment Clause appeal in the Ninth Circuit. - Advised a major social media company on legal risks arising from national elections.- Represented a Taiwanese manufacturer in a major multidistrict antitrust cartel litigation.- Advised numerous internal and external clients on legal ethics and professional responsibility. - Lead counsel on behalf of a veteran seeking benefits in a successful Federal Circuit appeal. - Wrote amicus briefs in the Supreme Court on behalf of immigrants’ rights organizations.- Working with the D.C.
