Bookkeeping/Accounting:• Manage, update and reconcile all financial activity related to business and client accounts for law firm specializing in elder law and probate. Annually create accountings for estates in the care of lead attorney.Billing• Enter bill information and create business invoices, oversee accounts receivable, and ensure accuracy of billable hours for law office and support staff.Legal Assistant/Technical Writing:• Draft and edit legal pleadings and correspondence as directed by lead attorney.Client Relations:• Coordinate with people including, but not limited to: clients, court personnel, and outside counsel to set court hearings, to set client consultations, and to relay instructions from lead attorney to clients.Personnel Management:• Create detailed, instructional program that helps new employees seamlessly learn and adopt their individual roles in the law practice.• Teach new employees their respective roles and how they interact with the roles played by their coworkers using said instructional program.• Coordinate efforts of office personnel to support lead attorney with accuracy and efficiency.
