- Manage the Out-of-State TeleCenter. i.e., supervise six student employees, develop queries, and write scripts in Slate. - Assistant Coordinator for Admissions Recruitment Volunteers (ARV) program: i.e., manage ARV email inbox and college fair invitations, advertise college fair opportunities to a network of alumni across the country, register them for said college fair, and then put together a package of materials in the mail for them to represent JMU at college fairs.- Oversee Maryland for prospective student recruitment for the ’23-’24 & '24-'25 cycle.- Served as interim counselor for New England and Delaware until a new counselor was hired.-Represent JMU to prospective students and their families at high school visits, college fairs, and on-campus visitations and recruitment events.-Present information sessions to prospective students and their families about JMU and the admissions process/criteria.-Manage travel planning including scheduling high school visits, booking hotels, reserving transportation, and mapping out an efficient schedule for navigating routes to high schools and college fairs.-Evaluate all freshman and transfer applications from my specific recruitment region by analyzing transcripts, following up with school counselors, and using professional judgment to make accurate and consistent admissions decisions. -Use PeopleSoft, OnBase, and Slate platforms to analyze prospective students’ information and make notes on applications to share with admissions committees.-Operate Zoom and other platforms to meet with and recruit prospective students at virtual events. -Served on committees for hiring an Assistant Director, Associate Director, and Admissions Counselor-Oversaw New England & Delaware for prospective student recruitment during the ’22-’23 cycle.
