With over 15 years of experience in the health industry, I am a highly accomplished IT leader who leverages technology to solve complex business challenges and deliver value. As the Applications Manager at Opal HealthCare, I am responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of applications and related databases, both on prem and cloud based. With a team of six direct reports, we lead the strategic direction, innovation, governance and lifecycle of applications across the enterprise. For an IT leader, unlike many, I have not come from a traditional IT background but bring to the table strengths in areas such as clinical governance, enterprise risk management, quality management, and operational management. I have contributed to the development and improvement of policies, standards, and processes across the organisations I have worked.
