I am Software Engineer with at least two years of experience in the iOS Mobile Development industry. When working with my team, we were able reduce the size of the iOS application by 0.3 MB by removing 10,000+ lines of deprecated and unused code which also reduced 100+ warnings in the codebase. To keep the application up to date with the latest tech stacks, I migrated 143 logs from an older logging API to a newer logger API. I updated 3+ modules in the codebase and improved the application by fixing defects and bugs in the application that was impacting 1000+ users. When creating new classes, structs, or other object-oriented code, I created unit tests cases to test the newly developed code to find any defects. Helping to monitor the application’s health, I created performance and usage tracers that help track the performance and the usage of certain components of the application. I have contributed to large-scale projects and multi-year projects that are in use in the iOS application today.My career experience and skills have grown well in my work. My coworkers have said that I “can take roadblocks head on” and “able to bounce between multiple components and pick up and learn each one.” When change happens in the industry, company, or team, I can adapt to new environments and multitask well. My coworkers have also said I “can take minimal instruction and make something out of it.” When getting assigned a task, I am good at getting the task done no matter the challenge the task presents. My coworkers have also stated that I can “learn new things and explore the depth of that knowledge.” I work well in team driven environments and can learn new tasks when I need to or when I have free time.
