I am a conscientious, dependable, hardworking individual who enjoys working as part of a team but can also complete tasks with a minimum of supervision. I'm enthusiastic and thrive on new challenges and am always keen to further himself both personally and professionally. I am a passionate and results-driven Quality Assurance (QA) professional with 2 years of hands-on experience. I was the lead QA/Game Tester on The Pale Beyond, a small indie resource management visual novel made by Bellular Studios.I used systems like Notion, JIRA, Visual Studio, Inkle and small parts of Unity whilst getting to know most of the other fields in a beginner/fundamentals knowledge base. I was also a Product Manager for a blog site with nearly a years experience writing weekly newsletters/roundups and other copies from our content writers/video editors to update our socials.I am still developing my Unity skills by studying the Unity Learn - Junior Programmer Pathway.My volunteer roles within the Scouts and as a Gold Duke of Edinburgh Leader, has equipped him with the ability to respect others, communicate effectively and work as part of a team, embracing strengths and weaknesses.I have attained a number of notable achievements whilst growing up, all of which have developed skills in organisation and planning and have shaped my character to become the strong person I am today. I was in the Scouts for 7 years and accomplished the Chief Explorer Scout award. I have a black belt in Jujitsu and has succeeded in completing the Duke of Edinburgh bronze, silver & gold awards. During the summer of 2015 I completed a week long residential as a crewmember on-board a tall ship sailing from Belfast across the North Sea to Alesund, Norway with 37 young people from across Europe.I have participated in over 100 theatrical shows and events as part of a technical stage crew, also operating as lead sound technician and managing a sound crew. The role required attention to strict safety procedures and technical guidelines to ensure every performance was to high standards.I have also been a committee member for a university society, LINK gaming. I was elected to be gear officer and I took responsibility for the safe storage, transportation and supply of all systems and board games as well as setting everything up.All these activities have needed commitment and involved great mental and physical endurance and have moulded me into the hardworking individual I am today.
