My Journey to R&D LeadershipGrowing up poor in rural Ohio, I learned about character, the value of hard work and the importance of problem-solving and treating others with respect performing manual labor at my family-owned RV campground and as a budding entrepreneur (I had a thriving lawn mowing and ice cream business)! Taking my love of problem-solving and innovation to a whole new level, I went on to earn my B.S. and Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering.
