My passion to learn and achieve is paramount in expressing myself personally and professionally. I am energized by the dedicated journey of pursuing knowledge and exercising new concepts to succeed. I was raised on a central Alberta farm. This origin built my foundation that includes a determined work ethic, balanced with my empathetic personality. The remarkably engaged mentors who I studied under at university reinforced my progress perspective of listening, learning, and achieving. Dr. S. George Pemberton said to me: “There is no substitute for expertise, so seek it out. When you first start your career it’s up to you to find your own mentors, then keep your mouth shut and your mind open.” With my eyes focused on the future. These words illustrate my current value as a person and a professional. My desire to listen to expertise is only outweighed by my willingness to learn and finally achieve.
