About Adam Shareef Umar
I graduated in the Master of Arts in Education from the University of East Anglia Norwich, England in September– 2007. I started my career as a primary teacher in 1981 and remain in education sector until to date. I have been working in various areas in education with a wide range of experience in teaching and learning, school leadership, teacher education, educational supervision, school curriculum development, continuing education, research and publications. I was the head of the National Institute of Education (NIE), Maldives from its inception and even today heading I am leading the institute.
