During my three rotations at McKenney's I was responsible for leading the BIM (Building Information Modeling) and field 3 week look ahead scheduling for projects. I was voted best presentation for my group lunch and learn and presented the topic to the McKenney’s Inc. upper management team. I wrote official RFI’s (Request For Information) and submitted them to the general contractor. I completed project EAC’s (Estimated Actual Cost) and managed cost code tracking and reported findings to the project manager. I completed project change orders and submitted pricing to general contractor. I also was given the opportunity to manage a small project at the Georgia Aquarium during third rotation.

During my second summer, I was given the opportunity to led team of interns in developing/testing a company manufactured alternative to imported pellets. We wrote a thorough technical report on experimental trials and presented the findings to the CEO and director of operations to begin the process of large scale manufacturing. I had frequent use of Solidworks to remodel company designs to optimize small scale 3D printed units. I measured resistance in various metals, analyzed how metals corroded when exposed to H2S gas, and presented the data/conclusion to the director ofoperations. Also, successfully met a primary goal of first summer internship by gaining in depthunderstanding of and making operational a CNC Router that was unused at the time.
