Since leaving Deanery High School in Wigan with 11 GCSE's, I then went on to do further studying in construction and management at Wigan and Leigh college. Having completed and receiving my Higher National Certificate I then made the decision to pursue a career in Rugby League which I was doing along side my studying. I first signed professional with Widnes Vikings and made my debut in 2006. From there I signed at the Salford City Reds and gained promotion to Super League. Moving on from Salford I signed for the Bradford Bulls and spent the best part of 5 years there making over 100 appearences. Whilst at Bradford I studied at Warrington Collegiate and gained a Certificate in Leadership and Management, a Level 2 and 3 Personal Training Certificate and also gained my UKCC Level 2 certificate and Fit 4 Sports Level 3 in coaching rugby league.During my transition from Salford to Bradford Stephen Wild (a fellow Salford player and friend)and I started our own gym called Wild Bull Fitness Ltd and began various fitness classes and personal training, which lasted 5 years. Again moving on from Bradford I then signed for the first Transatlantic Rugby League side to be formed called the Toronto Wolfpack which was based out of Lamport Stadium in Canada. There again I spent 4 plus years and gained promotion the hard way starting from League 1, then to the Championship and finally into the best league in the UK - Super League.The next chapter saw me move to the Leigh Centurions Rugby League where the 2022 team got promoted to Super League, won the AB Sundecks trophy and finished league leaders of the Championship League.I'm now back at Salford Red Devils and raring to go!
