An effective instructional designer and educator, I enjoy creating and delivering learning experiences that are both rewarding and memorable for participants. Having worked across corporate, postsecondary, and community contexts, I have often found however that my true appreciation of the learning process lies within the conversations I hold with learners. Each comes with such rich personal narratives that I frequently find myself in a position to learn too. It is through this realization that I have come to recognize that at the heart of every learning experience must lie acts of collaboration and reflection.Naturally, I am a coach at heart, driven to see and highlight what others cannot sometimes see for themselves. In my previous roles as a licensed soccer coach, a job coach, and as a coordinator/educator adopting coaching skills and principles, I have always strived to achieve a transformative coaching/training approach consisting of individualized consideration, inspirational motivation, and intellectual simulation. As part of my journey so far I have been fortunate enough to write and deliver training modules to over 500 matchday staff working on London’s biggest professional soccer stadium, designed and facilitated workshops for Special Olympics Asia Pacific 'Coach for Good' Program in Singapore, and taught a cohort of emerging professional footballers (U18) as part of a category one status Premier League Academy. When I am not working you can find me playing Masters Soccer (+35), enjoying various trips and restaurants with my wife (France is always a good idea), and kayaking whilst listening to the relaxing compositions of Faulkner and Einaudi. My Brittany spaniel Maggie is my world, and we both love exploring our little corner of southwestern Ontario together!
