• Running trade, presenting figures to the ladies wear team• Providing departmental updates on new reactions and best sellers• Loading promotions, markdowns• Running size analysis• Liaising with suppliers, sending contracts, purchase orders and working with the buyers and the critical path to ensure launch weeks are maintained• Analysing line prints, suggesting to allocations if more stock is needed• Providing history information in preparation for sign offs • Running training courses for new starters I feel I am now an experienced Trainee Merchandiser and a valuable member of the team. I have taken ownership in the TM role on the department and have helped the department in ensuring critical launch dates are met by bringing in my own trackers and gaining a good relationship with all suppliers which I feel is key to a smooth running business. I am also the Trainee Merchandiser rep, store problems rep and systems rep. Responsibilities include helping the team when needed and running training sessions for the ladies wear department.
