As the Sustainability Leader at Clark Nexsen, my role involves partnering with teams of talented design professionals to set and achieve ambitious sustainability goals for our projects. Collaborating closely with clients and project teams, we develop and implement strategies that integrate sustainable design principles, health and well-being, and low-carbon solutions into our work. I oversee the integration of life-cycle assessment and advanced modeling techniques to reduce embodied carbon, report on sustainability benchmarks, and actively contribute to industry-wide sustainability initiatives.In this capacity, I serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging our collective expertise to educate and guide clients through the complexities of sustainable design. This involves navigating diverse industry landscapes to tailor solutions that not only meet but exceed environmental and social sustainability targets. By driving the adoption of innovative practices and championing change, my role is to ensure that Clark Nexsen not only designs buildings that are energy efficient and environmentally responsive but also contributes to the wider dialogue on climate action and sustainable development.
